Membership is open to private and public sector stakeholders including legally registered building and civil engineering companies operating in Uganda, individuals of special merit related to the construction industry and construction related manufacturers and suppliers.


Membership categories and Fees
Membership fees are as indicated below. Categories were expanded to in order to target international temporary contractors, recognize growth of members and enhance membership growth.


UNABCEC is in a strategic position to influence favorable policies that could address cross cutting national issues that are impediments to the growth of the construction industry.
UNABCEC’s programmes and activities have made it a stronger association that brings together those involved in the construction sector and those who are dedicated to the goal for growth and development of the construction industry in the region.

Reinstating your membership is easy. By reinstating your membership you will be able to take advantage of the many benefits of membership without delay.  Please provide the following materials to enable us to facilitate your request:

  • UNABCEC Membership Reinstatement Form*
  • Membership update and renewal form*
  • Payment of current year dues

  1. Adherence to UNABCEC and Industry core values and code of ethics and conduct: By becoming a UNABCEC member, you acknowledge that your company will adhere to acceptable ethical standards and UNABCEC core values and have or will make long term contributions to the development and integrity of the association and the industry.

  2. Pay Annual Membership Dues: Each year, UNABCEC will send to current Active and recently Inactive members an invoice for dues for the forthcoming year. Association By-Laws state that dues are payable for each year in by June 1st of the year to which they should be applied. The Board of Directors may terminate the membership of any member whose dues are in arrears of twelve months.

  3. Important Note: UNABCEC members may sponsor any selected activity only if their dues for the current year are paid.
